BellaHabana In Cuba, private taverns, coffee stalls, cafeterias, restaurants and other such eateries recently opened as a result of economic changes made by Raul Castro in 2008, these establishments are known as “paladares”. The name originates from a small private eatery seen in a popular Brazilian soap opera, the term then spreading amongst the Cuban populace from 2008 onwards. Though categorised as a paladar, the BellaHabana is a mature restaurant in more ways than one and would stand strongly alongside restaurants of the most developed countries.
BellaHabana is located on the 6th St., No. 512, between 7th and 31th avenues in Havana’s Miramar district. The restaurant is separated from Havana’s chic Vedado area by the scenic and stunning Almendares river, making its location one of the most attractive residential zones of Havana since before the Cuban Revolution. Thus the family house that harbours the restaurant is a beautiful and well maintained property, where the BellaHabana entrepreneurs have taken every possible measure to arrange, with the help of skilled staff, a classy restaurant in a stylish environment.
The menu includes the options of beef, lamb, pork, rabbit, poultry and a variety of fish and seafood options. The beverage menu offers a wide range of coffee concoctions as well as cocktails, soft drinks and fresh juices.
